The new waterproof (they even float!) DiST®5 and DiST®6 testers have a dual-level LCD that displays EC or TDS and °C or °F. At startup, DiST® performs a self check then displays the remaining battery level to assure proper working condition. These new EC / TDS / Temperature meters have a stainless steel temperature probe for faster and more precise temperature measurement. Calibration and temperature compensation is automatic, while the EC / TDS conversion factor and temperature coefficient factor (ß) are user adjustable for application specific measurements. These advanced EC/TDS/°C/°F meters feature graphite electrodes to provide the greatest possible accuracy as they cannot be contaminated by salt deposits in the solution and when the electrode finally is exhausted simply insert a new electrode cartridge!
Choose your DiST according to the proper EC / TDS ranges for your application:
DiST®5 (HI 98311): EC - 0 to 3999 µS/cm; TDS - 0 to 2000 ppm
DiST®6 (HI 98312): EC - 0.00 to 20.00 mS/cm; TDS - 0.00 to 10.00 ppt
