Smoke candles quickly produce clean efficient smoke which varies in color from white to gray depending upon density and lighting. They contain no explosive materials, as smoke is created by a chemical reaction where the visible portion is mostly atmospheric moisture. These candles remain the industry standard for leak testing and when compared to other types of smoke, they generate a more consistent, visible smoke which allows leaks to be detected more easily and from greater distances.
